The legacy of former Cuban leader Fidel Castro should be evaluated by the Cuban people, Slovak President Andrej Kiska wrote on his Facebook page on Sunday. "The rest of us can only wish that they will in time see Cuba as a happy country and a real island of freedom," he wrote. Prime Minister Robert Fico expressed his condolences to Cuba. "Cuba has never jeopardised anybody else; it only wanted to live its own life. Many hated it for this courage," said Robert Fico, naming Fidel Castro the symbol of that courage. The former Cuban president died last Friday at the age of 90.
