Enthusiasm for Europe must be restored, say French & Slovak Presidents

It's of utmost importance to give hope to the young generation in Europe and to restore enthusiasm for Europe as a whole, a task that should fall to EU leaders, French President Francois Hollande and his Slovak counterpart Andrej Kiska concurred in Paris on Tuesday. The meeting took place as part of Kiska's official two-day visit to France (November 21-22). According to Kiska, the EU is a solution to many of today's problems which should be solved together with empathy and mutual understanding. Presidents also praised the mutual relationships of their countries. Kiska stressed that it was Paris where the creation of the first Czechoslovak republic began to acquire more specific contours a century ago and also said, that France is a great example for Slovakia in the sphere of innovation.
