Slovak Speaker of Parliament Andrej Danko is on a working visit to Armenia. In the capital Yerevan he is meeting with the country's leaders.
He is also to lay a wreath of flowers at a monument to the 1.5 million victims of the Armenian genocide perpetrated by Turkey between 1915 and 1916. Ankara has consistently protested against the use of the term 'genocide'.
