The Health Ministry erred in the tender seeking the operator of rescue helicopters for Bratislava and Trenčín helicopter bases. SDKU-DS Deputy chairman Viliam Novotny announced this following an audit on the department on Wednesday.
He announced that his party will initiate an unscheduled parliamentary session with a no-confidence vote towards the minister on its agenda. The reason given is that her department neglected its duties. Opposition MPs initiated the audit to find out why the helicopter rescue stations remained without operating licenses for five days.
