Blu-ray collection of Slovak films created

As part of the Slovak presidency of the EU Council, the Slovak Film Institute has released a representative ten-part Blu-ray collection of Slovak movies. The package caters to six different languages, presenting Slovak cinematography abroad. From Wednesday until the end of this month, parts of the collection will be screened in Moscow, Russia. The selection was developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, along with the Editorial Board of the Slovak Film Institute (SFI). The selection include Slovak classics, such as Boxer a smrť / The Boxer and Death (1962), Slnko v sieti / Sun in a Net (1962), and Chodník cez Dunaj / The Path across the Danube (1989). All the included films have been digitally restored.
