According to the new winter flight schedule, which is set to come into force as of October 30, Bratislava airport will provide regular flights to 22 destinations in 16 countries. New routes to Kiev (Ukraine), Nis (Serbia), Eilat (Israel) and Leeds (UK) are among the novelties. The Hungarian low-cost operator Wizz Air will launch a new route to Kiev (Ukraine) as of December 17 with flights twice a week, while as of March 27 it will add another route to the city of Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ryanair will fly to Eilat in Israel, Nis in Serbia and Leeds Bradford in the UK. All three new routes will operate twice a week. Another new feature of the winter schedule is a regular charter flight to Hurghada (Egypt) provided initially by Air Cairo airlines once per week and twice a week as of mid-February. At the same time Flydubai is increasing the frequency of its flights to Dubai from the original three to four times a week.
