The largest skiing resort in Slovakia, Jasná in Low Tatras, is preparing a new 15 seat cable car for its visitors to Chopok Mountain. It will transport skiers on a 1.2 kilometre route between the locations Krupová and Kosodrevina. Its capacity is 2,800 people per hour. It should start operating in the middle of October. The resort, in cooperation with the Liptov region, should also increase the number of ski buses for tourists and improve the infrastructure. The beginning of the season in Jasná is planned for December 3.
