President Andrej Kiska is paying an official visit to Switzerland at the invitation of Swiss President Johann N. Schneider-Ammann. The head of state is being accompanied by Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajčák, Economy Ministry state secretary Rastislav Chovanec and representatives of the Slovak startup and scientific-academic community. The main purpose of the visit is to bolster bilateral cooperation, particularly in the spheres of economy, innovation and R&D, with the two presidents slated to take a tour of ETH in Zurich, which is one of the most distinguished universities in the world.
