According to state social insurer Sociálna poisťovňa, the number of men staying on a parental leave in Slovakia is significantly increasing. While in September 2014, there were 292 of them, the number increased to 733 in September 2015. Moreover, 1341 men have been drawing parental benefits in the same month in 2016.
