Slovak tennis player Dominika Cibulková won the tennis tournament in the Austrian city of Linz on Sunday. Thus, the Slovak number one player fought through to the WTA Season Finals in Singapore taking place at the end of October. In Linz, Cibulková seeded second, defeated Viktorija Golubič from Switzerland 6-3, 7-5, securing her third WTA women's singles title this year. Previously she won the tournament in Katowice in April and in Eastbourne in June. Slovakia will be represented at the elite eight-player tournament for the first time since 2007, when Daniela Hantuchová managed to get to the WTA Finals in Madrid.
