Slovak Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák has described the EU migrant relocation scheme as a failure. He was referring to a report by the European Asylum Support Office (EASO) assessing the situation one year after the scheme for the resettlement of migrants from Greece and Italy to other EU countries was introduced. According to the report, some 6,000 asylum seekers have been settled in other Member States; three of them in Slovakia.
