If the presidential elections scheduled for next spring were to be held today, the incumbent Prime Minister Robert Fico would win with the highest number of votes. This information comes from the latest survey carried out by the MVK polling agency. Fico would make it to the run-off together with ex Christian Democrat MP Radoslav Procházka.
Fico would garner some 37.9 percent of the vote while 28.1 percent of those polled would vote for Procházka. The survey was carried out on a sample of 1,078 respondents that was representative for the population of Slovakia in terms of gender, age, education, ethnic origin, and the size category of municipalities and regions.
