State employees ask for bigger pay increases

Trade unions have rejected a 3 percent pay rise as of next year for state and public administration employees and ask for a 10 percent increase instead. Finance Minister Peter Kažimír argues that there is no money for such a pay hike in the state coffers. The draft state budget for next year is the main topic on the agenda of today's tripartite meeting.
