The current trends in management and marketing of European tourism destinations were discussed at an international conference organised by Matej Bel University in the central Slovak city of Banská Bystrica on Thursday. "The aim of the conference is to present new ideas, current trends and examples of good practice in destination management and marketing," said the university's marketing communications officer, Zuzana Ševčíková. The event organised under the auspices of the Slovak Presidency of the EU Council was attended by various domestic and foreign experts.
