Around 500 people gathered at SNP Square in Bratislava at the so-called 'We Want a Better Country' protest organised by public figures with no political background. The protesters requested that Prime Minister Robert Fico should call off Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák for allegedly having links with tax fraudster Ladislav Bašternák and Social Affairs Minister Ján Richter for the scandal of allegedly abused underage girls in a resocialisation centre in Galanta, western Slovakia. The organisers also called on Speaker of Parliament Andrej Danko to resign, claiming that he destructs democracy and that the financing of the Slovak National Party, where Danko is a chairperson, is unclear.
