The Slovak humanitarian organisation MAGNA nursed more than 4,000 patients in Syria in July and August this year. In an encircled area near the town of Homs, organisation runs a mobile clinic with a radius of 43 km where approximately 200,000 live. The MAGNA's local team is made of Syrian doctors, nurses, a midwife and a driver. "Security is complicated, however our teams are safe so far," said Barbara Langsfeldová of the organisation. According Kateřina Struhová, also of MANGA, there are at least 1.5 million people in encircled areas in Syria, with no access to humanitarian help or health care.
