The unemployment rate in Slovakia fell to 9.4% this August, reads the data of the Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Ministry. In August 2015, it was at 11.3%. The trend of unemployment decreasing over several years is thus continuing, with Slovakia achieving an all-time record number of employed people. "There's a real prospect that we'll be able to meet our goal from the Government Manifesto and create 100,000 new jobs next year," said the Labour Minister Ján Richter.
