Nothing stands in the way of signing the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between the EU and Canada, said the Government's Proxy for the Slovak Presidency of the EU Council, Ivan Korčok, on Tuesday. He also praised the atmosphere of the negotiations and called them transparent. The EU trade ministers will also discuss the CETA at their informal meeting in Bratislava this week. The EU-Canada summit is scheduled for the end of September, while the European Council summit that is to take place in October should include the agreement between the EU and Canada as one of its topics.
