The opposition party Freedom and Solidarity MP and former Justice and Interior Minister Daniel Lipšic hit a 70-year-old man in a car accident on Monday. The pedestrian later died in a hospital. Daniel Lipšic tested negative for alcohol. According to eye-witnesses, the man was intoxicated and it is not clear for now if the accident happened on or off a zebra crossing. At the moment, "If I will be able to, I will gladly help the family if they are willing to accept it," said Lipšič who also expressed sorrow over the tragedy.
