On Wednesday, cyclist Jozef Metelka won a gold medal for Slovakia while his colleague Patrik Kuril won a bronze, both in the Men's Time Trial C4 discipline at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Thus, Metelka has 3 medals (two golds and one silver) from all three disciplines he competed in, and he is to take part in one more at the Games. After the first week of the Paralympics, the Slovak team has 8 medals - five golds, two silvers and one bronze.
