In July, the most significant rise in real salaries, by 8.5% year-on-year, was recorded in the sale and repair of motor vehicles, according to the Slovak Statistics Office. Real salaries also rose in accommodation services, in selected market services, in wholesale, in retail construction, transport and warehousing, as well as in restaurants, pubs and in industry. A drop in the average real monthly salary was recorded only in information and communications activities - by 2%.
