Europe’s best female petanque players compete in Bratislava

Since Tuesday, Bratislava has been hosting the European Triplets Championship in petanque for women. The Best teams from 32 countries are competing for the 8^th time and for the first time in Slovakia. The biggest favourites of the tournament are the current European champions from Spain as well as the Danish, the Belgian and the French teams. "Our goal is to get among the best 16 teams," said captain of the Slovak team Katarína Gajdošová before the beginning of the championship. The tournament's finale is scheduled for Sunday, 4PM.
