Representatives of China's largest investment company 'CEFC Direct Investment Company' discussed opportunities for cooperation and investment in Slovakia with Finance Minister Peter Kažimír and Economy Minister Peter Žiga in Bratislava on Monday. The company wants to invest €100 million especially in the field of energy, engineering, logistics and tourism. The meeting was a continuation of discussions that started during Kažimír's road show in China in July. According to the Finance Ministry, the Chinese associates see Slovakia as a kind of bridge between Europe and Asia and they appreciate the interest of the country in sharing this benefit with foreign investors.
