Construction works for the National Football stadium began at the Tehelné pole site in Bratislava on Thursday. It should have a seating capacity of 22,000 people and its final cost is estimated at almost €60 million including VAT. The first football matches will kick off on its grass at the end of 2018. The state has committed itself to completing the construction work and purchasing the non-commercial part of the stadium.
