The British carmaker Jaguar Landrover, which should start the construction of its plant in Nitra, western Slovakia, in three weeks has had to deal with falling British Pound since Brexit, wrote the Sme daily on Tuesday. According to the daily, Jaguar could end the agreement with Slovakia, if the Pound reached parity with euro and remained at a 1-to-1 level for 180 days. At the moment one euro costs 86 British pence. As the Sme daily wrote, the British analysts don't expect euro-pound parity even in a worst case scenario. Moreover, as the daily points, the carmaker decided for Slovakia also due to the fact that the country is a part of the Euro zone.
