The Polish Antimonopoly Office has blocked the construction of Nordstream 2 gas pipeline and its fate is now unclear, reported Slovakia's public broadcaster RTVS on Tuesday. The gas pipeline should lead from Russia to Germany via the Baltic Sea, avoiding Ukraine and Slovakia. Slovak government disagrees with the plan as it would significantly influence the country's energetic security. However, the Russian gas company Gazprom claims that it is not giving up on its intentions.
