Prices of flats in Slovakia have risen year-on-year by approximately 5%. The town of Nitra is experiencing a big jump, where property prices have risen by 15% year-on-year. The reason behind this is the planned arrival of the carmaker Jaguar Land Rover, and also the needs of its employees to solve their housing situation. The most significant rise has been recorded with smaller apartments. Last year, for example, a 2-bedroom apartment would cost 55 to 65 thousand Euro in the Nitra borough of Klokočina. Today its price has risen by at least 10,000 euro.
