Approximately 28,000 people have so far signed a petition to limit the use of dangerous pesticides, which was launched by Greenpeace Slovakia this spring. Currently three such pesticides have limits on their use imposed in the EU but only until the end of this year. Three years ago Slovakia did not vote in favour of banning them completely. Now the Agriculture Ministry is in favour of some changes.
