The leader of the far right parliamentary party Kotleba - People's Party our Slovakia Marian Kotleba won an anti-award titled Homophobe of the Year 2015. He earned 39.6% of all votes for his statement, "We will introduce rules to control the content of media and will not allow the befooling of kids by depravity." Boris Kollár, the head of another opposition party 'We are family' finished in second place and independent MP Martina Šimkovičová came third. The award has been granted by the Human Rights Institute since 2013.
