On Tuesday, five dissatisfied MPs of the coalition party Sieť (Network) announced they are leaving the party and have commenced talks with another coalition party Most-Híd on joining its caucus. "They have to decide what they want to do. Based on this, we'll hold talks. But we aren't there yet," said Most-Híd chairman Béla Bugár. According to political analyst Ján Baránek this move would be beneficial for the rebelling MPs, Most-Híd and the ruling coalition too. The government would thus eliminate potential problems and Most-Híd would grow stronger and could possibly gain the post of the Transport Minister from the Sieť party. On the other hand, as Baránek said, the move would be fatal for the Sieť party.
