Medical students at Comenius University in Bratislava can print living cells thanks to a new 3D bio printer, reported the TASR press agency on Wednesday. Thanks to the first device of its kind in Slovakia, future doctors can get familiar with new methods in the field of regenerative medicine. "Bio-printing has extraordinary potential. Printing of a new replacement tissue or organ from the patient's own cells will be common in future," said Andrej Thurzo a pioneer of 3D printing in medicine in Slovakia.
