An MP for the Opposition party Ordinary People Alan Suchánek proposed to organise a general protest against Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák on September 16, if he would not resign by then. On the very same day, a summit of European Leaders is to take place in Bratislava. Suchánek came with this idea on Monday at the ninth weekly protest in Bratislava demanding the resignation of the Interior Minister for his alleged business links with tax fraud suspect Ladislav Bašternák. This time, around 1,000 people gathered in front of the Bonaparte apartment complex where Prime Minister Robert Fico rents a flat from Bašternák.
