Salaries grew in construction the most past year

Average real monthly salaries rose year-on-year in June 2016 in most sectors according to the Slovak Statistics Office. The most significant increase was recorded in construction; 8.4% reaching €675. Salaries also grew in restaurants and pubs, as well as in the sale and repair of motor vehicles, retail, in accommodation services, transport, warehousing and in industry. A drop in the average real monthly salary was recorded only in information and communications services; by 0.4% at €1,708.
