Slovak industrial production up by 2.2% in June

Slovakia's industrial output went up by 2.2% year-on-year in June, stated the Slovak Statistics Office on Wednesday. The most significant growth of 13.5% was recorded in the production of metals and metal structures excluding machinery and equipment. Production also increased in the manufacture of electrical appliances and transport vehicles as well as several other fields. On the other hand, mining and quarrying faced the biggest drop; by 4.1%. Production also slowed down in electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supplies.
