In June, Slovak foreign trade surplus reached €515 million, which is the highest level since September 2014, according to the Slovak Statistics Office. At the same time, the foreign trade surplus in the last twelve months reached 4.3% of the GDP. This recent development indicates that Slovak exports are still growing, in particular due to the car industry. The Slovak Statistics Office expects an increase in Slovak foreign trade surplus in the coming months too.
