21 Slovak cultural monuments have received funds in the total of €10 million from the European Economic Area (EEA) Grants. "The state has supported the projects with another 1.5 million," stated Jaroslav Mojžiš, the director of the EEA and the Norway Grants department at the Slovak Government. With these grants, the Government aims to increase the country's attractiveness for potential foreign visitors and protect Slovak and European cultural heritage.
