The victims of a police raid in the Eastern Slovak town of Moldava nad Bodvou, which took place in 2013, have filed a complaint at the Constitutional Court, claims ombudsman Jana Dubovcová. As the SME daily reported in March this year the Interior Ministry's inspection decided that the police officers did not violate any freedoms nor did they use excessive force during a raid in a Roma settlement. In the past, Dubovcová emphasised that the action of police did not meet the condition of inevitability, thus, violating the freedoms of victims. "If they don't succeed at the Constitutional Court, I can imagine they will turn to the European Court of Human Rights," concluded Dubovcová.
