On Monday, the Slovak flag was raised in the centre of the Olympic village as a part of Monday's ceremonies. Thus, the Slovak Olympic team has officially become part of the Olympic family in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro. Moreover, the head of the Slovak delegation Peter Korčok presented the mayor of the Olympic village with a gift from our team.
