The opening of the Jaguar Land Rover plant in Nitra will increase problems with the lack of labour force in the car making industry. Currently, there are three carmakers in Slovakia - Kia Motors in Žilina, Volkswagen in Bratislava and PSA Peugeot Citroen in Trnava. According to the personnel and consulting company McRoy Group, Peugeot Citroen, which is only 50km away from Nitra, could be hit the hardest by Jaguar's arrival. Many people travelling to these automakers may simply change their employer.
