Economy ministry condemns news regarding weapon sales to Syria

In response to the allegations from foreign media regarding distribution of Slovak weapons in the conflict zones of the Middle East, the economy ministry stated that it does not consider this information to be credible. "According to our knowledge, the institution which probably published the list of countries is spreading information before verifying it." However, the Ministry confirmed the legal distribution of weapons to Saudi Arabia. Sale of weapons to countries that are not fighting in wars is not illegal.
