The national sales receipt lottery has its first ten winners. The winner of the main prize, which is €10,000, made a purchase totalling €6.31 and registered the winning receipt over the Internet on September 17. The purchase was made in the Labaš supermarket located in the village of Šaca, near the city of Košice in eastern Slovakia. Finance Minister Peter Kažimír says that the sales receipt lottery was created to attract people’s attention to tax evasion.
