Damage done by state employees summed up

Individual politicians and state clerks have caused damage at the level of €3 million during the past five years, said Independent opposition MP Miroslav Beblavý on Wednesday. Beblavý summed up the money which the state had to pay due to the breaching of the Public Procurement law and the law regarding the responsibility for damage caused by state employees. Beblavý interpellated twelve minsters, the Prosecutor General and the director of the Slovak Social Insurance Agency. He requested information whether the institutions made claims against the people responsible for the damage and fines, as the government promised.
