Tatiana Hrindová will assume a newly created post called the 'Ministerial Nurse' as of August 1. She will be in charge of heading the newly established department at the Health Ministry. The Ministry expects the new department to effectively and constructively address the nurses' issues and cooperation with medical staff. President of the Slovak Nurses and Midwives Chamber Iveta Lazorová hopes that Hrindová will have real power to make fundamental changes for nurses in the sector, as they have been calling for changes in the system many times over the past months and years. Hrindová has been working in health care for more than 30 years - as a nurse, an assistant lecturer and also as deputy director of a hospital.
