This year the Vinné castle in the Michalovce region, a castle that dates back to the 13th century, has grabbed the attention of archaeologists once again. As Peter Bednár from the Slovak Academy of Sciences claims, they were surprised to unearth several door and window openings. In one of them - geometrical signs are engraved into a stone board.
