Special Prosecutor Vasiľ Špirko, in charge of the investigation of Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák, has been accused of abusing his power, reported the Denník N daily on Tuesday. If the suspicion is confirmed, he could be taken off all cases. The prosecutor's office has not published any details so far. The Opposition has requested an explanation in order to clarify whether the politically sensitive case has been influenced.
