Former Transport Minister Ľubomír Vážny (Smer-SD) took over the position of general director of the state social insurer Sociálna poisťovňa on Monday. He replaced Dušan Muňko whose term expired. He said that the institution has been consolidated and financially stabilised and has collected €1.31 billion more than planned since 2012. Moreover, e-services for the public have been introduced and extended. The term of office for Sociálna poisťovňa's general director is six years.
