During his visit to Angola on Thursday, Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajčák offered his Angolan counterpart Georges Rebelo Pinto Chikoti scholarships for local students at Slovak universities. The politicians also discussed possible cooperation in trade between their countries. According to Lajčák, Slovakia could cooperate with Angola in the mining industry, the defence industry, agriculture, construction and in the field of energy. Angola is the third strongest economy in Africa with rich oil and mineral resource reserves.
