Major digitisation projects have brought minimal practical benefits to courts so far, stated Justice Minister Lucia Žitňanská on Tuesday. "We perceive the situation very similarly to other sectors in the country in that a lot of money has actually been invested," said the Justice Minister. Žitňanská wants to make corrections to the projects due to be implemented in the upcoming 2014-2020 period for drawing European funds. In the past four years, €112 million has been invested in information and communication technologies for the Judiciary system, mostly from Eurofunds. The digitisation of the judiciary will continue until 2018.
