"Vietnam represents great investment opportunities for Slovak businesses," said Prime Minister Robert Fico during his official three day visit to the country. He sees the greatest investment opportunities in the fields of IT and banking. He was speaking about the construction of a large pipeline to Laos that is being finalised with the participation of a Slovak bank and a number of Slovak firms. Robert Fico also intends to bring Vietnamese investors to Slovakia. He discussed the need to look into the fact that Slovakia has a negative trade balance with Vietnam.
