After the attack in the French city of Nice on Friday, French President Francois Hollande had to cancel his visit to Slovakia which was planned for Wednesday, July 20. Moreover, a minute of silence was held in front of the French Embassy in Bratislava in order to remember the victims of the tragedy. In reaction to the attack, Slovakia maintains its second degree terrorist alert.
